The Friends of Oakfield Junior School is our Parent Teacher Association (PTA). Our aim is to bring the school community together through fun and inclusive events, while also raising funds to support exciting projects that benefit all our pupils.

Why Your Support Matters

Everything we do depends on the time, energy, and generosity of parents and carers. Without your help, we simply couldn’t provide the wonderful events, activities, and opportunities that enrich our children’s school experience.

Last year, thanks to your support, we were able to fund:

· Christmas lunch treats

· School planners

· Learning resources such as Doodle Maths, Times Tables Rock Stars, and SPAG.com subscriptions

· A Year 3 welcome picnic

· Ice lollies for the children

· Contributions to the Fetcham Community Fridge

· A Year 6 leavers’ BBQ

· Arts and wellbeing projects

These are just some of the extras that make our school such a vibrant and supportive community.

Get Involved

We’re always looking for new members and volunteers. Joining the Friends is a fantastic way to meet other parents and get involved in school life. Together, we can make school life even more enjoyable for our children, raise funds for projects that give them the best opportunities, and help create lasting memories for them.

Supporting the Friends

There are lots of simple ways you can support the Friends and help us raise vital funds for the school:

· Your School Lottery – Join with a monthly Direct Debit for the chance to win money or prizes, while also raising funds for our school.

· Easyfundraising – Shop online via the Easyfundraising website or app (including Amazon and many other retailers), and a percentage of your spend will be donated to our charity at no extra cost.

· GoFundMe – Contribute directly to specific projects we’re fundraising for.

· Clothes Donation Bins (near the car park) – Bring along any unwanted clothes, shoes, or fabrics.

· Recycling Area (by the school hall door) – Drop off used ink cartridges for recycling, which also raises money for us.

· Match Funding – Many employers offer match funding schemes. Could your workplace double the impact of your contribution?
