Pupils in the Junior School are divided into three different Houses which plays a part in team activities such as Sports Day. The houses are named Dragons, Griffins and Unicorns, in Year Six, two pupils are chosen to lead each House each term. It is the job of your House Captain to demonstrate the attributes and qualities as a pupil at Oakfield and to rally your enthusiasm and House pride throughout the year.
The roles of House Captains are ones of privilege, pride and responisibility. They are more than just a title and badge and require dedication and commitment for an entire term.
Characteristics of a House Captain
• Polite and well- mannered
• Organised and committed
• Well-presented in uniform and appearance
• Able to liaise and converse with staff, pupils and the wider community
• Desire to act responsibility and to be a role model for other students
