Ultimate Frisbee
On 25th February Mrs King took a team of 8 year 4 and 5 children to participate in an Ultimate Frisbee tournament at The Greville School.
The tournament gave the pupils a chance to join in 6 skill stations of various frisbee games. In the final the Oakfield team played multiple games of ultimate frisbee against all the other local schools.
The team were fantastic in their confidence and determination. The result was that they WON the tournament and were highly commended for their fantastic teamwork. The Surrey Sports Games Officer commented "The Oakfield children work together and treat everyone equally."
Well done to everyone for their amazing passion and curiosity in trying out a new, fun sport! We are now going forward to the county final in May!
