The Friends aim is to organise a number of enjoyable school community events and to raise as much money as possible to assist the school with financing great projects.

On the 15th October 2019 (at the yearly AGM), the Friends of Oakfield waved a heartfelt goodbye and thank you to the following people:

After quite a substantial amount of years ( running into decades), hours and minutes of volunteering  aggregated between them, they decided to move on to other things but not before seeing out our yearly Fireworks event and handing over the various batons.....

Please do take the time to read the attached reports, minutes and finances that shed a very detailed pictured of the 18/19 academic year for The Friends of Oakfield. 


We are so delighted to announce a newly formed committee to take you all through the next few years...... Drum roll please.....!!!!

The warmest of welcomes to:

Lala Caveley- Frost our new Chair. ( Lala has two girls in year 3 and a little one in pre-school). 

Hanerri Swanepoel as our new Secretary. ( Hanerri has a boy in year 5)

Lorraine Faulkner on money and finances as our new Treasurer (Two girls in years 3 and 5).

EmojiWe are so very pleased to formally announce that the annual Fireworks event held on the 8th of November 2019 raised a whopping £5,000 profitEmoji

This money will be spent on refurbishing the remaining classrooms and towards a jazzy new library!

Our sincerest of thanks must also be extended to the following people/groups:
