Due to the impact of the Covid-19 pandemic, 2019 data is the latest available results data. School performance may vary yearly, and, due to the uneven impact of Covid-19 on pupils and schools, 2019 data may no longer reflect a school’s current performance.
We are extremely proud of our Year 6 cohort (62 children which included those in the LAN centre) last year as they achieved very pleasing KS2 results, both in their attainment and progress, which saw us ranked 36th for children achieving the expected standard in reading, writing and maths combined (81%) out of the 438 primary schools in Surrey with 15% also achieving greater depth. The average for children achieving the expected standard in reading, writing and maths combined for all Surrey schools was 70% and 65% for all schools in England. Our maths results showed that 89% achieved the expected level with 42% obtaining greater depth; in writing 87% achieved the expected level with 18% obtaining greater depth and in reading 85% achieved the expected level with 40% obtaining greater depth.
Our progress results showed a positive score of 1.1 for reading and a positive score of 0.7 in maths. We obtained a writing progress score of -1.1 and continue to make this area a priority in order to also get this result into the positive band.
Our average scaled scores in reading and maths were 108.3 in maths and 108.7 in reading.
Thank you to all the parents and staff for their support and to the children who showed great resilience and determination.
