KS2 SATS 2022

We are extremely proud of our Year 6 cohort (61 children which included those in the LAN centre) last year as they achieved very pleasing KS2 results, both in their attainment and progress. It is also important to note that national averages were significantly lower in all subject areas, except reading, when compared to 2019 data (last time children did the official KS2 SATs).

Our attainment results in maths showed that 86% achieved the expected level (national average was 71%) with 38% obtaining greater depth; in writing 84% achieved the expected level (national average was 69%) with 21% obtaining greater depth and in reading 90% achieved the expected level (national average was 74%) with 39% obtaining greater depth. 87% of the children achieved the expected level in SPAG (national average was 72%)  with 52% achieving greater depth.  The children also achieved 83% for maths and English combined compared to the national which was 59%. Our attainment at KS2 was significantly above national and in the highest 20% across maths, writing and reading.

Our progress results showed a positive score of 1.7 for reading, a positive score of 1.5 for writing and a positive score of 2.5 in maths.

Thank you to all the parents and staff for their support and to the children who showed great resilience and determination.
